For HTC Polaris phone running on Windows Mobile 6.1,
the Settings on ICS Control program need to be
- First scroll down to the bottom of the Settings tab in ICS
- Click on Set All Default button; that will set the Public Interface to Cellular Line
- Scroll back to top of the Settings page and set Private Interface to TNETW12511 (or whatever device for WiFi)
- Select a Private IP
- Select Auto Connect to your cellular network, _MyDataService_
- Save and Start ICS
Then configure the WiFi on your HTC Polaris to have a
- Only computer-to-computer WiFi Network, create a new one for this cellular to WiFi network
- Fill in a name for the WiFi network and set it connect to Work (internal connection)
- For the HTC Polaris, I need to disable Data Encryption which is different from Step 6 of the Tutorial:
